Evolving Space Labs is an applied engineering company in Puerto Rico. We define a problem with precision before we build, and we solve it with the discipline of engineers who put systems into production.
- 01Where we come from
A nonprofit, first
Evolving Space is a nonprofit in Puerto Rico dedicated to education and workforce development. Its programs put it in contact with companies, agencies and community organizations across the island, and with how they actually operate.
Those organizations kept asking for something a nonprofit is not set up to sell: specialized, cost-effective, ethical and secure technology built for their operation.
- 02Why Labs exists
A separate company for that demand
Evolving Space Labs was formed as a separate, for-profit company to answer that demand. It builds and operates custom systems for organizations, under its own contracts and on its own terms.
- 03How the two relate
Two entities, kept apart
The two are separate legal entities with separate governance, books, clients and obligations. Labs does not use the nonprofit's funds, assets, programs or partners, and any dealings between them are documented at arm's length.
What they share is an origin and a standard: what we build runs, and it stays yours.
